Body Brave offers accessible, evidence-based support for people impacted by eating disorders and disordered eating, wherever they are on their recovery journey. All services are virtual, designed to be low-barrier, and grounded in person-centred, compassionate care.

Whether you’re just beginning to explore recovery, waiting for treatment elsewhere, or looking for ongoing support, Body Brave offers options to meet you where you are.

How Our Services Work:

Step 1. Self-Guided Support

Everyone begins with access to the Recovery Support Program. From there, you may choose to explore additional supports, including Clinical Services, if you are eligible.

Step 2. Clinical Services (Ontario Only)

Body Brave’s Clinical Services provide a supportive space for people in Ontario who are seeking help with eating disorders or disordered eating.

Recovery Support Program

Whether you’re just beginning to explore eating disorder or disordered eating recovery, waiting to begin treatment elsewhere, or looking for extra guidance to help maintain your recovery, Body Brave’s virtual Recovery Support Program is the perfect first step.

The Recovery Support Program is a low-barrier, online program designed to help individuals begin or strengthen their recovery journey in a supportive, accessible environment.

The Recovery Support Program Includes:

 Self-Guided Support Sessions

A collection of pre-recorded eating disorder recovery psychoeducational video workshops and worksheets you can watch at your own pace.

Resources to Find and Access Treatment

Includes self-assessments and information to help you take the next step in your care.

Self-Reflections and Check-Ins

Virtual self check-ins that help you track progress and notice changes over time.

Practical Tools and Resources

Practical tools to support your recovery journey and share with loved ones or healthcare providers.

How to Get Started

Step 1: Register

Complete the registration form here.

You’ll provide some basic contact information and privacy consent.

Step 2: Access Careteam

After registering, you’ll receive a link to create an account on Careteam, a secure online platform where you can access your personalized resources and track your progress.

Step 3: Review Your Action Plan

Once you’re set up on Careteam, you’ll receive a personalized action plan with recommended resources and next steps tailored to your needs.

Step 4: Start Your Recovery Journey

Begin exploring the tasks and resources in your action plan, watch some support sessions, and use the tools that resonate with you. Move at your own pace and come back to the resources at any time.

Clinical Services

Ontario Residents only*

*Ontario Residents  (aged 17+) will have access to register for our virtual Clinical Support Services in your Action Plan.

Intake Call

The first step to accessing our clinical support groups is booking a 30-minute intake call. During this call, we’ll learn about your needs and suggest some Body Brave groups that could be a good fit for you.

 

*Clients must book into programs using our eBooking Platform found in the Recovery Support Program on the Careteam platform. Must be 17+ and residing in Ontario.
