TOGETHER, FULL RECOVERY IS POSSIBLE.
NO ONE SHOULD RECOVER ALONE.
Families, friends and caregives play an important role in the recovery journey. Without support, the eating disorder may last longer. Families and carers can be a vital part of the treatment and support team and should be recognized as such. Eating disorders can have a significant impact on everyone and it’s important for families are carers to receive education, training and support throughout the journey. 1
For those actively caring for someone who is struggling with an eating disorder, we sometimes offer virtual and in-person groups (please note that these programs do not run all year). Through the annual Body Peace Conference, caregiver training and education sessions are offered virtually.
If you are looking for services for your child, please note that we do not offer services for those younger than 18, however, we can help you navigate the healthcare system and offer recommendations.
