WE STRIVE TO OFFER TIMELY AND ACCESSIBLE SERVICES
At Body Brave, we strive to offer timely, accessible, high quality treatment and support. In an attempt to be consistent with this, we have a Cancellation Policy that allows us to schedule appointments for all patients. When an appointment is scheduled, that time has been set aside for you and when it is missed, that time cannot be used to treat another patient. There is a high demand for our services and we often experience long wait times. We want to be able to offer each client treatment and support.
Our policy is as follows:
We require that clients reschedule/cancel an appointment at least 48 hours before the time of the appointment. This must be done by email by rescheduling/cancelling through the Jane Portal or by emailing us at firstname.lastname@example.org. Please note that due to limited staff, we are unable to monitor the phone.
Canceling your appointment ahead of time allows for other clients to be scheduled into that appointment slot.
If clients miss 2 appointments without rescheduling online, emailing us or contacting our office by phone within the required time (at least 48 hours before the time of the appointment), this is considered a missed appointment. No future appointments can be booked and clients will not be able to access the online booking system.
Clients will be asked to call or email Body Brave and speak directly with a staff member about the situation. Depending on the circumstances, staff may choose to reactivate the account. This policy applies to ALL Body Brave services including online and in-person workshops, core groups, general groups and individual appointments.
